Easter

Chase woke us up this morning saying he could see the eggs the Easter bunny hid downstairs. I think I need to hide them in harder places next year. I'm so glad he still believes, though this will probably be the last year. We opened up our baskets and Dave made us waffles for breakfast. Chase played with the boys all day and Dave and I watched Harry Potter, I finally bought the books to read, so I read a little too. The Hansen's came over for dinner...very nice Easter this year...

Every Easter we go to Dave's mom for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. My dad went with us this year and Chase's best friend Tristan. We had a really good time and great food, especially Michell's chocolate cake..:) I took a bunch of pics too ....of course...

Spring break...Mon.-Fri

Mon....went to the Dr. one of the many visits I had this week..This one was for not sleeping, I have to have bloodwork done and go to a sleep center, hopefully soon I will be able to sleep..Robbie and I took the boys to the skating rink. We only stayed for about an 11/2 hrs...everyone was tired and had blisters..:) Had a good time though...

Tues....Chase went with me to get blood taken, he was so good waiting for over an hr to get in. After we had breakfast at Burger King and did some shopping at Walmart. Chase and I did some chores this morning, we started sanding down his dresser so we can repaint it. He was a very good helper, he thought the electric sander was quite cool...

I went to the Dr again today, for my bladder this time...so the verdict...I have to have surgery...I am hoping this will solve the problems and I can go back to a normal life again..:) Dave and Joel went to hit balls while all the boys went swimming down the street.

Wed....Robbie's sister does hair on the AFB, so we went out there today to get our hair done. Jazzy watched all the kids...poor girl, she had 5 of them. It took quite a while sence there was 2 of us and we both had 2 colors done on our hair, but she did such a great job....love my hair....We all had dinner at CeeCees...cheep and good..

Thurs....Chase and I went to the dentist today...nothing like getting all your dr. appt. all in one week. Chase has 2 cavities..his 1st ones. Me..none, never had any yet... We spent the day together which is nice sence he always wants to play with his friends. We had Sonic for lunch, stopped by papas, and made a quick trip to Hobby Lobby. We relaxed at home watching Sooby Doo, and after dinner Dave, Chase and I went to see HOP....cute movie

Fri....We went to Michelle's with all of Dave's family to color eggs. We had lunch and watched Lemonaide Mouth too...Yep, I actually love the movie..:) Chase and I had our own little photo shoot today too.

On the way home we got paint for Chase's room and Dave's Easter present. The boys all played together for a while then we all went to BJ's for dinner. The boys kept making faces with the ribs stuck in thier mouth..the people behind us were cracking up, their creative I will give them that...



April 11-17th

Tues.....crazy hair day at school....Chase wanted red hair....

Wed.....finished Chase's Easter basket...yep I actually sewed it...not very good, but Chase thought it was awesome..:)

Thurs....We did Easter projects today at daycare...

We went shopping for the boys camping trip and found the best popcorn ever at Walmart...soooo good..

My headboard for our bedroom is finally done, I had to wait for the vinyl I ordered to come in, they sent me the wrong color the 1st time....I love it!!!!

Fri....Almost every Friday Chase and I get up early so we can run to McDonalds for breakfast...
Sat...Chase had his game today and pitched the best he ever has so far....we had a BBQ at our house with the Hansen's....

Sun...Dave took the boys today so Robbie and I could go shopping. We went to Khols then met the boys at the District for lunch at the Elephant Bar. After lunch the boys went off roadin while we did a little more shopping...

Tues.-Sun

Tues...we had our 1st practice of the new season...then after took the boys to KFC
Thurs. Easter project I did with the kids....

Fri....long day today...horray for the weekend.. The team got new shirts for the new season, but no sox and pants to match...very unorganized...so Robbie and I went to Big 5 to get sox at least for them. The boys wanted to go hit balls, so we all went. Robbie and I even hit them, but it was too cold so we stayed in the car the rest of the time..:)

Chase was student of the week a few weeks back and the teacher made up a book all about him with notes all the kids wrote about him. One little girl...the one he likes said Chase was handsome...so cute. And I'm learning that Chase must be the class clown, because everyone said how funny and crazy he is..
Anyone who knows Chase knows how clutsy he is. Today he was walking down to Tristans and comes back home with a cut on his ear. I asked him what happened and he told me he was walking and not paying attention and walked right into a For Sale sign posted in someones yard. Then we were eating dinner tonite and he was blowing on his soup so hard he blew the soup in his eye...seriously the kid needs to be bubble wrapped for his own saftey...:)

Sat..The boys finally cleaned up the backyard...for money of course. I went to the gym then off to the baseball game..Here is Chase's new jersey, I like the color much better than the yellow..

Tonite we went out with the Hansens. We went to PT's for dinner had a little game of pool, then the boys wanted to go hit balls..again...so we did that then got some ice cream at Dairy Queen. Very nice kid free night...

Sun.....Robbie and I went to workout, we tried the Bodyjam class for the 1st time...very fun. Dave was nice enough to watch the boys while we went. We had dinner at Robbie's, her sister came over and cut both the boys hair. Chase decided that if Tristan cut his he would cut his too...sooo glad, the Justin Bieber look doesnt look so great on him..:)

Thurs-Sun

Thursday Chase had baseball practice at the Dugout. All the boys had to work so Robbie and I got to run the practice sence we are the team moms. Good thing it was at the batting cages, all we had to do is load balls into the pitching machine..it was actually fun...though the guy next to us was upset because he said we were cheering on our kids too loud...

Fri......long day with kids, always glad for the weekend. Chase spent the night at Tristan's..of course. Dave and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings. We like the food but also like playing the trivia...we came in 1st place tonite, usually our machine breaks and we cant finish playing...

Sat....Chase had his 1st game of the new season. He pitched really good today once he warmed up.

After the game went went to the mall, Dave needed to go to Dicks to pick up a few things but somehow we all ended up with new clothes and shoes.

Tonite we went to dinner at Crab Shack with the Hansens. The boys played on the playground while we enjoyed the nice weather outside, some drinks and yummy crab legs.

Sun...Dave made us waffles with the new waffle maker we bought and then we finished Chase's table...FINALLY...:)

In the afternoon we all took the kids to the carnival. Man I must be getting old because all those rides made me sick, but the kids enjoyed it. After we all went out to dinner at Macayos.

Very busy, but very good weekend...
